Mia's Tech Tip: Email big files with YouSendIt
YouSendIt lets you send large files in a flash by email
without downloading software.
Sending and receiving large files by email can be an exercise in frustration, whether you're trying to send large documents, or audio or video files to clients, or share digital photos with family and friends. YouSendIt is a Web-based service that allows you to send large attachments with just a few clicks, with no complex registration system or software to download. The process is simple: You go to the YouSendIt website, upload your file to their server, then shoot it off to the recipient, who then gets an email from YouSendIt with a link to download your file. The free account gives you 100MB per file size, with a monthly limit of 1GB, while higher capacity paid plans start at $10 per month.
