So You Want to Make an Album?

Opinion is divided on the future of the album, but one thing is for sure, it can be a huge artistic undertaking. We kick off 2011 with a discussion about the creative, financial and organisational practicalities surrounding making an album, and contemplate why it is still a worthwhile endeavour.

The evening will feature a short film charting the creation of Escape Act's second album 'Balance', released during 2011, and group discussion and thoughts from Chris Heaney (Escape Act), Paul McIvor (Cutaways), Tom McShane (himself), Declan Legge (Big Space Studios) and others tbc.
