TRY RESISTBOT: Text "Resist" to 50409. Check it out, it will automatically send — and keep trying to send until send is confirmed — your message to your members.
STRATEGY: Demand your members appoint a Special Prosecutor/Independent Commission, and if they don't, urge them to hold a TOWN HALL to tell us WHY.
STRATEGY: Don't let the firehose of trump & republican malfeasance overwhelm you. Selfcare first, then when you call, calmly let them have it on all issues! And remember, you are not alone.

REMEMBER, the Democrats needed to take 31 seats to attain a majority in 2006. This time we only need 24 (and less if Ossoff, Frank, Murphy, Parnell or Quist win!). 23 republicans represent districts that Clinton carried in 2016 (3 won by vary narrow margins — Coffman in Colorado's 6th CD is one of them.). Another 10 republicans BARELY won (by less than 4%). WE CAN DO THIS. More here.

CONTINUE TRACKING these other important Democratic races (as a result of seats open because of trump appointments) in other states:

Not on facebook?: Maybe now's the time — if only for political action and alerts. We've found for many impromptu events and protests, facebook is the only place to find them. You'll need to sign up for a facebook account to access very good and informative facebook pages, like Pantsuit Nation, Longmont Area Democrats or CLEAN. Even if you are a "refusnik" like many of us were at first, Facebook is an easy and friendly way to stay politically active. (and you don't have to post to personal friends, in fact, you don't have to post at all, just follow your news feed.)
TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT Longmont Area Democrats! We are your one-stop for getting involved locally and nationally. We can point you to the best and most effective ways to be engaged. Check out our website at longmontdems.org, like us on facebook, follow us on twitter and if you know someone who'd like to sign up for this email blast, have them email us at email@example.com with "sign me up" in the subject line.
THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!
