Hola,
For obvious reasons, healthcare has been raised a notch or 3 this year in the list of global priorities.
We are in acute need of Covid-19 vaccines, treatments, and research to help us better understand the virus. But fighting disease is also about making people healthier overall — both during this pandemic and in the face of future threats.
For all these reasons, we’re especially excited to release our second annual Digital Health 150 list, the world’s most promising companies at the intersection of tech and healthcare.
These companies, located across 18 countries, are working on problems such as at-home care, disease management, and drug discovery. Some of them are directly involved in the Covid fight, including:
- AI drug discovery platform Atomwise, which just raised a $123M Series B on Tuesday
- Digital stethoscope maker Eko, which was tapped by AstraZeneca to help develop heart screening tools
- Clinical trials startup Science 37, which has inked several partnerships for accelerating Covid research
See all of our picks here. |
