Latinx Heritage Month began on Thursday, September 15th and ends on Saturday, October 15th. This month recognizes, honors, and celebrates the resilience, contributions, and cultures of Latinx, Chicanx, and all Latinx-identified folx from America and with ancestors from Mexico, the Caribbean, Spain, and Central and South America.
We invite you to take time to explore the UC Berkeley Division of Equity & Inclusion website celebrating Latinx Heritage Month. This website highlights resources for you to learn, events that honor the occasion, and steps the campus is taking to become a Latinx Thriving Institution - an initiative where we each have an important role to play.
The Alianza Staff Organization is committed to community building, professional development, and promotion of Latinx staff at UC Berkeley.
